So, last Saturday FFAF started the new UK tour in Maesteg, Matt’s hometown, in Wales.

Alex and his girlfriend Bethan Jones from Porth, (both aged 22) were four days into a six-month trip when the plane crashed on landing at Phuket (Thainland) on September 16, 2007. Alex died in the crash and Bethan 10 days later.

Sumo, ‘Reading and Leeds Festival’ 2009

As revealed by the band via their Twitter page Funeral will be playing this years Reading (Friday) and Leeds (Sunday) festivals on the main stage with Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, Fall Out Boy and Deftones.
