New update from Matt Davies-Kreye on myspace:
“It’s been a looooooooong time since i’ve posted anything on this here page of ours and i cannot excuse the lax attitude of keeping in touch via the electronic web. So here I am dropping some words into the box.
So as you all might have heard we’re neck deep in the process of writing and demoing new tunes for FFAF ALBUM NUMBER 5, it’s been going really well and we’ve got a ton of new songs already sorted out that are exciting everyone here at FFAF HQ. I know people are gonna be wondering what they sound like and it might be some time before you guy’s actually here them but trust me when i say that these tunes rock more than anything we’ve done in the past couple of years.
I’m really happy with the lyrics i’ve been writing, more so than I have of any of the last two records (not to say that those were bad by any means) but it’s been a strong continuation of of the stuff we recorded for Your History Is Mine. I personally think you’re gonna love these tunes, i really do. They blow away thew cobwebs and make you want to finger point and scream at the top of your lungs.
Anyway, while I was away before Xmas i got to catch up with friends in Strike Anywhere and meet and see the awesomeness of Dead to Me (if you haven’t heard of them then check them out!) and I’ve been unable to stop playing all my As Friends Rust and Lifetime records. They’re definitely taking a beating!
Video blogs should be coming along soon so you get to see some stuff as we’re heading into the studio in March so you won’t have to wait too long for some visual information. Plus you might get to hear somethings too.
Anyway, i’ve gotta run. Got stuff to do and very little time to do it in.
Stay safe, much love.
Matty.”

“A belated Happy New Year and welcome to two-thousand-and-ten
We thought it about time that we wrote you Myspace a little update on where we’re at.
You may have noticed our myspace has been a bit on the quiet side? Sorry about that. We’ve been off playing with the younger, cooler and prettier Miss Twitter and forgot all about poor ol’ lady Myspace. Shame on us.
If you guys have been following our progress there you’ll see that we’ve actually been keeping ourselves pretty busy. If you haven’t then follow us on www.twitter.com/ffaf and keep yourselves up to date.
Someone nuggets you may have missed were tweets letting you know that we are:
Currently demoing material for album number 5
This will be our first album with Gav- he’s very excited
That material is sounding mahoosive (massive)
Kris got a new 7-string guitar for Christmas as he was such a good boy last year
We starting recording on the day of our main man Saint David the Patron Saint of Wales (look it up)
Recording will once again be handled by our main man Romesh
Dodangodagodagoda, who did a sterling job on the new tracks on ‘Your History Is Mine…’
We’ve also been very prompt and concise in the area of the ol’ “Question/Answer” game.
We’ll be keeping you nice and up-to-date through there but we promise not to neglect you myspacers as well.
Video blogs/pics/allsorts coming soon

First post of the year and we have some news to post here!

Anyone here ever read the latest tweets of the FFAF late last year until now? So they are writing and recording demos for the 5th album. That’s right, they will release new album this year! No definite date or anything about this yet, but they are working for the album number 5, definitely!
See the tweets about the new cd:
@ffaf
“We’re not metal, but today’s new tune is very metallic. Kris has got his shred hat on. Happens this time every year. Weird.”
“Enjoying a bit of writing for album number 5..album 5 already??”
“Listening to some new demos. They’re beyond rad. Get ready.”
“Snowed in. Great. No demoing new tracks today then. Never mind. Plenty in the bag already. Be prepared.”
“2010-FFAF Album Number 5.Shame ‘Faith No More’ stole the title ‘Album of the Year’.Maybe it’ll be called ‘Record of the Year’.”
